High-level installation procedure

The ThingPark Enterprise high-level installation procedure is composed of the main steps hereafter, which are detailed later in this document:

  1. Deployment of the operating system, based on the provided ISO image – See Deployment of the Operating System.
  2. ThingPark Enterprise Instance registration, to gain access to ThingPark Enterprise software repository and get your license file. – See ThingPark Enterprise Instance Registration.
  3. ThingPark Enterprise Cluster creation – See ThingPark Enterprise Cluster Creation.
  4. ThingPark Enterprise Configuration and Deployment – See ThingPark Enterprise Configuration and Deployment.
  5. First Login to ThingPark Enterprise User Interface, the final step to get an up & running ThingPark Enterprise Instance – See First Login to ThingPark Enterprise User Interface.

The ThingPark Enterprise installation is available in two different modes:

  • Online: requires access to a remote repository, through the internet.
  • Offline: installation with local media, does not require internet access.

ThingPark Enterprise can be installed either on a physical server or on a virtual machine.
