Accessing a self-hosted ThingPark Enterprise platform

First time logging in to a self-hosted ThingPark Enterprise platform

If you are entitled to an Administrator role or to a Devices and Applications Manager role, then you can complete the first-time logging-in operation which consists in uploading the license key.

Prior to this, you need to obtain your password from your System Integrator. Then, you will be asked to change this password.

1. Connect to https://<hostname> with a Web browser.

   -> You are prompted for a login/password.

2. Use the following credentials:

   • Login: install@actility.com

   • Password: Use the password that has been provided to you at first time login.

3. Click Login.

4. In the first installing screen, fill in the following fields:

   • First name

   • Last Name

   • Enterprise

   • Email Address

   • Phone Number

   • Password (and confirmation)

5. In the « Upload your License Key » section, click the paper clip icon to upload the license file. It has been previously generated by your license manager from the installation ID of your ThingPark Enterprise instance. The capture looks like this:

1. Click the link that has been provided to you by email to activate your account.

2. Update your password and user profile to activate your account.

3. Click Submit.

   -> Your account has been updated.

4. In your Internet browser, type the URL to access TPE.
   This URL is defined by your System Integrator during the installation step of self-hosted ThingPark Enterprise. To learn more, see the self-hosted section.

Regular login to a self-hosted ThingPark Enterprise platform

1. In your Internet browser, type the URL to access ThingPark Enterprise. This URL is defined by your System Integrator during the installation step of self-hosted ThingPark Enterprise. To learn more, see the self-hosted section.

2. Type your username and password to complete your login.
