Associating multicast groups with domains
If you are entitled to an Administrator role or to a Devices Manager role, you can run this procedure.
Associating multicast groups with domains allows to restrict their visibility. For more details, see Domains.
If your user account has domain restrictions, the multicast groups must still satisfy your domain restrictions after the execution of this procedure. It means that:
- You cannot replace an existing domain with another domain not matching your domain restrictions.
- You cannot remove a domain matching your domain restrictions.
In the left panel, select Multicast Groups, then filter the multicast groups based on your desired criteria. For more information, see Filtering multicast groups.
Select multicast groups by ticking the corresponding boxes.
-> The domains icon is activated.
Click to associate the selected multicast groups with domains.
In Add or replace domains, click to add a domain.
In Name, type to find and select the domain to add.note
If some selected multicast groups are already associated with domains belonging to the same group, those domains are replaced with the new one.
Repeat the steps 4 and 5 for each domain to add.
In Remove domains, click to remove a domain.
In Name, type to find and select the domain to remove.
Repeat the steps 7 and 8 for each domain to remove.
-> The selected domains are added/replaced/removed from the selected multicast groups.
