Firmware Update overview

Abeeway trackers have MCU and BLE Firmware that are released frequently. There are two ways to carry out firmware update.

1. Abeeway tracking app: This method is useful to upgrade trackers in the field and it can be done with a smart phone connected to the tracker over Bluetooth.
2. Abeeway Updater: This method requires a windows or Linux PC and it can be used to upgrade large number of trackers with a USB hub or a Smart Badge docking station.
