Overview

The four network tools available on ThingPark are:

Prior to using the network tools, you need to be aware of the parameters that you need to perform this action.

ParameterDefinition

DevAddr

  • Device Address on the LoRaWAN® network, allocated by the network server for OTAA devices and personalized by the manufacturer for ABP devices. The same DevAddr may be shared across several physical devices.

  • Composed of 8 hexadecimal digits (0 to 9, and A to F), it identifies the device on the current network. The most significant bits of the DevAddr identify the LoRaWAN® network ID (also known as NwkID), the size which depends on the NetID type.

  • Example: 05-AB-C4-89.

DevEUI
  • Globally-unique identifier of the device provided by the device manufacturer.

  • Composed of 16 hexadecimal digits (0 to 9, and A to F), issued from the manufacturers IEEE EUI block.

  • Example: F0-3D-29-00-0B-B1-7A-AA.

LRR Id
  • Designates the Long-Range Relay (LRR) identifier, which the ThingPark's internal identifier of the LoRaWAN gateway/base station.

  • The LRR-ID is not globally unique but it must be unique within a given ThingPark platform. LRR-ID is derived by the network for each base station.

AS Id
  • Designates internal ThingPark identifier of the connection towards third-party Application Servers, where the devices' data is routed.
