Managing device attachments

On SaaS deployments, you can attach installation photos and documents, such as installation reports, to a device. The ATTACHED FILES widget is at the bottom of the device details page.

You can attach up to 10 files to each device. Their combined size cannot exceed 10 MB. All file types are accepted.

To open the widget, select Devices in the left pane, then select the device. The widget lists each attachment's name, description, upload date, and size. You can download an attachment, and click an image thumbnail to view the image at full size.

If you have write access to the device, you can also manage its attachments:

• Add a file: Click UPLOAD FILE, select the file, optionally enter a description, then confirm the upload. The description can contain up to 512 characters. Select Upload another if you want the dialog to stay open to add another file.
• Change a description: Click the edit icon beside the attachment. You can change its description, but not the file itself.
• Delete a file: Click the delete icon beside the attachment, then confirm the deletion.

Attachments are not copied when you duplicate a device. Deleting a device also deletes its attachments.
