Supported brands of base stations
ThingPark supports a wide variety of LoRaWAN® base stations, with two different packet forwarders:
- ThingPark's Long Range Relay (LRR) is the recommended packet forwarder, thanks to its very rich set of radio and O&M functions that are homogeneously supported across all gateway models.
- Semtech's Basics Station packet forwarder.
The following video gives you insights about ThingPark LRR and its key differentiators from Basics Station:

Kerlink
The following base station models from Kerlink brand support ThingPark's Long Range Relay (LRR) packet forwarder.
Due to a current Kerlink limitation, the remote upgrade from KerOS 4.3.3 to KerOS 5.11.0 using Kerlink's live-burner will reset the network configuration of the base station.
Accordingly, do not attempt to remotely upgrade the firmware from KerOS 4.3.3 to KerOS 5.11.0 if your base station does not use an ethernet connection in DHCP configuration.
