Changing the password of the support account

Starting from 8.0, it is strongly recommended to not change the password of the support account in SUPLOG. Instead follow the task described in Changing the password of the support account to ensure the new password is securely stored in ThingPark to be used for remote access.

This feature is supported from LRR version 2.8.39 onwards.

  1. Use your current support account to connect to SUPLOG, as described in Connecting to SUPLOG.

    If your base station is already connected to ThingPark's core network, you can connect to SUPLOG from the ThingPark Enterprise interface by using the remote access feature.

  2. From SUPLOG's main menu, click Identifiers then Set Actility support tool password, as per the following screenshot

  3. Enter your new password twice, then click Confirm.
