Configuring NTP servers

Time synchronization is essential, to allow correct timestamping of LoRaWAN® frames and ensure that your base station operates with the right time reference.

This time synchronization is fulfilled through the NTP protocol. To make this possible, your base station must communicate with one or several distant NTP servers. Follow these steps to configure the list of NTP servers:

  1. From SUPLOG's root menu, choose System configuration, then Network then NTP:

  2. Update the list of NTP servers. You may set up to 3 servers, separated by a space.

Once you are done with your changes in this menu, click "Confirm" to save your configuration.

Note At this stage, the configuration is only saved by the system, but it has not yet been applied to the base station. To learn more, click Apply/Commit/Rollback mechanism.
